Sherburne County substance use prevention coalition (SUP)
The Sherburne County Substance Use Prevention (SUP) Coalition is a community organization dedicated to making our community safer, healthier and drug-free by focusing on preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs among our youth.
The “Talk Early, Talk Often” campaign is organized by the SUP Coalition to educate and empower parents and caregivers to have ongoing conversations with the young people in their lives around drugs and alcohol.

Big Lake Substance Prevention Coalition (BLSPC)
The Big Lake Substance Prevention Coalition was established in 2021 under a five year grant awarded to Big Lake School District from the Minnesota Department of Human Services Behavioral Health Division. As a group, the coalition works to correct misperceptions about the behaviors and attitudes of youth and adults surrounding underage substance use through the Positive Community Norms (PCN) framework.
